Susann Corll Stroup b.July 16,1793 in Lynn Twp., Lehigh CO.,PA. and died November 19,1867 in Geeburg, Jackson Twp.,Mahoning CO.,Ohio married to Andrew "Andy" Stroup,sr. born April 9,1790 Lehigh CO.,PA and died July 4,1875 in Hutchinson, Reno CO.,Kansas were the parents to ten children:Nathan, Samuel, Catherine, Daniel,Moses,Mary Ann, Lydia, Andrew Jackson, Emanuel and Angelina.   Photo taken before 1867.

Andrew Stroup,sr. was married to Susannah Carl (Corll) of Lynn Twp . Lehigh CO.,PA. He moved with his family from Lynn Twp. to Jackson Twp., Trumbull CO.,(now Mahoning CO.) around 1830.

Andrew Stroup, sr (pictured above)had marital problems and filed separation papers to live separately. (circa 1860s).  When Andrew Stroup jr and his wife Elizabeth and children decided to move to Kansas Andrew sr went with Andrew jr. family and mother-in-law.  In 1876 Andrew sr died in a prairie fire and was buried in an unmarked grave in Hutchinson,Kansas. Nine years before his death his wife Susannah who stayed in Ohio died in 1867.
